Livewire is a wireless-enabled instant messaging portal which can be accessed through desktop computers, laptops, PDAs and soon, in mobile phones. It allows real-time direct linking to staff members through task-associated e-mail, instant messaging, voicemail, whiteboard, web-enabled person-to-person or multi-user video. Although its interface is web-based, it is secure and password protected. It can only be accessed by those who have the software and are given access by the company. |
